- Mary McKie (active 1840-1862) was an amateur artist who taught and worked in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She contributed to the Nova Scotia Industrial Exhibition in 1854 and the International Exhibition of 1862. Her works are found in various albums in the National Archives and Library of Canada. Most of her works represent Mi'kmaq peoples; however, she did work in landscapes as well. Several of her watercolour portraits are included in Lady Falkland's album assembled in Nova Scotia while her husband was Lieutenant-Governor from 1840-46.
