- Born in Baie St. Paul, Quebec, Yvonne Bolduc, was born into an artistic family. Her work includes sculpture on painted wood and she became well known for her winter scenes. She did a series of pictures based on the novel "Un homme et son Peche." A picture of hers was presented to the Right Hon. Vincent Massey by the town of Baie St. Paul and he owns several others by her as well, as does the Countess of Athlone. She won several prizes for her work and in 1959 she exhibited her wooden sculptures at the Museum of Fine Arts in New York, where they were well received.
