Notice biographique
Doris Godfrey Andrews was born in Brentford, England in 1885. Not much is known about her but it seems clear from the British publication of Royal Academy Exhibitors that she exhibited with that Association through to 1925, but was living in Toronto by 1913. Andrews' medium was painting and she studied at various schools in England before immigrating to Canada. While in England she was a member of the Society of Miniaturists in London. Her works include: "Miss Hilda Coward" (1911); "Mrs. F.W. Lacey" (1912); "A Lancashire Lass" (1913); and "Study of a Boy" (1925). The date of her death is unknown.
