- Bradshaw was born in Owyno, California, in 1904 and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1913. She settled in Victoria, British Columbia, in 1955 where she received art training from Molly Bobak and H.G. Glyde at the Victoria Art Gallery and also studied privately with Herbert Siebner in Victoria. Her work was influenced by the Group of Seven, Paul Klee, and Jack Shadbolt. Bradshaw is known for her still life, landscape, and figurative work as well as her depiction of the Haida culture and the totem poles of Queen Charlotte Island.
