Notice biographique
Caroline Farncomb painted portraits, landscapes and genre paintings in oil. She lived in London, Ontario where she was employed as the secretary of the London Art Association. Farncomb exhibited her work at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Spring Exhibitions from 1900 to 1909, at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto from 1907-1908, at the Royal Canadian Academy from 1899-1908, and at the Toronto Industrial Exhibition from 1897-1901. She was elected into the Ontario Society of Artists in 1908, and exhibited some of her works there in 1909. She won first prize in exhibitions in London, Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa.
