- Eileen Taylor worked in ceramics, sculpture and textiles. She left her teaching career to study at the Alberta College of Art in the early 1960s, receiving her Diploma in 1967. She later taught block printing and silkscreen printing at the Alberta College of Art, gave workshops for the Government of Alberta, as well as children’s art classes. Taylor became a member of the Canada Craft Council and the Advisory Council to the Alberta College of Art. A number of her works have been exhibited across Canada. Her works are held in a number of collections, including the Jean A. Chalmers National Craft Collection, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and numerous corporate collections (Imperial Oil Edmonton, the Edmonton Club, Winston Churchill Law Court, Alberta Association of Municipal Districts and the Glencoe Club) and many private collections.
