Biography synopsis
Mary Catharine Gill painted landscapes in the Charlevoix and Eastern Township regions in Quebec. She exhibited at the Art Association of Montreal Spring Exhibitions for most years from 1897 to 1920 and at the Royal Canadian Academy in 1899. A retrospective exhibition of her works was held at the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre, Sherbrooke in 2008.
