- Biography synopsis
- Clara Galbraith was educated at the Wesleyan Ladies College in Hamilton, and was instructed in art by her mother who was an amateur painter. She was known for china painting, and she participated in the creation of a large dinner service by the Women's Art Association and given to Lady Aberdeen as a gift. In addition to her work in china painting, she painted in oils and watercolors. She exhibited work at the Women's Art Association of Canada exhibitions. She was president of the Hamilton branch of the Women's Art Association and she taught watercolor and ceramics at the Hamilton Art School.
