Canadian Exhibition Reviews Online Database

Credits

Dr. Kristina Huneault, Concordia University's Research Chair in Art History, Dr. Janice Anderson, Visual Resources Curator at Concordia University, and Melinda Reinhart, Visual Arts Librarian at Concordia University Libraries, began work on the Canadian Exhibition Reviews Online database in 2008.

The members of CWAHI would like to thank Charlie Hill, Curator of Canadian Art at the National Gallery of Canada, and Laurier Lacroix, Associate Professor at UQAM who provided access to research files. The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Archives also collaborated in providing access to Scrapbooks (1864-1948) which CWAHI has digitized.

Peter Pagé was responsible for all aspects of the database design.

Research assistants — Kate Brayley, Emma Dalziel, Kate Marley, Johnny Nawracaj, Marie Péron and Maya Soren — were responsible for verification, scanning, and all aspects of digitizing the review articles.

This project was made possible through funding from a Concordia Library Research Grant, the participation of Kristina Huneault through the Concordia University Research Chair program, and Heritage Canada's Young Canada Work Grants through the Canadian Museums Association, the Canadian Library Association and the Canadian Council of Archives.
