- Julia Bullock-Webster spent two years visiting her son from 1894 to 1896 in Keremeos, British Columbia. She kept a diary of her sojourn documenting the diverse flora and stunning landscapes of the Similkameen Valley in B.C. In addition to paintings in watercolours and botanical studies, she produced numerous sketches of the landscape around Keremeos. The Penticton Art Gallery holds thirty-four watercolours donated by her granddaughter, and other works are also held at the Art Gallery of Victoria.
